Banned IP?

Umm I have 2 questions; what is a banned IP, and why do I have it?
if someone could answer this it would be great, and i can't get on D:

A banned ip is an ip address that has been banned from a certain server. You have probably been ip banned because you griefed or you broke one of the rules ( i dont khow the reason i am just suggesting to you). When you are ip banned in this case from AGN you cannot ever be unbanned as it permanantly bans your ip from that server ip.

Not entirely true. CloseKnight could go into the config files and unban, but that's quite a bit of work.

We don't IP ban without reason, do you have a brother that might have screwe something up?

Ah of course...I do have a brother, and he and I share the same computer for minecraft (because we only have one in the house), but we use different accounts.
He must have come on and done something stupid...his in game name is max_carlile
i'm pretty sure.
I was really confused with being banned because I dont ever remember doing any griefing or breaking any of the rules

if you can do something to fix this I would be very thankful; also please dont be mad at me, this had nothing to do with me other than the fact that we use the same computer

For what it is worth, I don't know any details other than what I have read here so far but I wanted to say that blubberdud has made a good impression when I have seen him on. His behavior has been fine and he is always polite and helpful.
Just thought I would add that as a character reference if it is helpful in making a decision.

and thank you to whoever unbanned my IP, I am really sorry that this happened, I guess my older bro found out what server I have been playing on, and...did something.
Just keep him banned and please dont unban him, I know that he will probably just come back on and do something stupid again
