Gold! Gold! Gold!

Greetings fellow players and inhabitants of Anti grief nation, first of all i will have to wish you all a happy new year and say thank you for a wonderful year filled with spectacular builds and structures.

As many of you know I am running a bank. We have a decent ammount of vacant vaults for sale and more is coming!

But now i will explain the topic title (catchy yes i know) I have a new banking system coming up! And this time you will get impressed. (well i hope so).
The past weeks i have been wondering "What does the server need atm" And the correct answer is a banking system based on gold. This might sound ridiculous and unimportant. But i promise you this is good.

So basicaly people will buy a vault. Top security as far as i know atm. And instead of chests full of random stuff like cobble, diamonds, coal,minecarts and other goods you will deliver goods to a banker (must be a staff member approved by the bank) and he will put your stuff away. Then he will put the exact same ammount of value, just in gold blocks inside your vault.

The vault will after a short ammount of time be stuffed by gold in stacks up at the walls inside sealed vaults. And you may now ask "Gold issnt really THAT expensive that we can actually place them inside a vault as replacement for goods. I figured out that 1 block of gold inside the vaults will be worth 3 times as much as regular gold blocks. (I will personally secure the vaults and keep them secure with force fields.)

Why gold you might ask. Why not diamond blocks? Well the answer i came up for that question is:
1. Gold will be similiar to the irl system of gold exhange.
2. It will be much more realistic and will look more awesome.
3. Gold is actually really hard to get compared to diamonds that magicaly show up in players chests around the server (yes i AM investigating and i WILL catch the guy, if he/her issnt catched already)
3. I think Gold is so festive!

So yeh thats my suggestion please leave comments and responses to this suggestion and please feel free to give me critics and come up with ideas/modifications to the system.

If this is the currency? what to do with iconomy?
Well good question. I thought people might have a limit at their iconomy bank. Like a mini wallet. like you can only have 1000 $ stashed at iconomy bank and when youre out of money , talk to your banker/enter your vault.
Thats my suggestion on that.

What if when you want to withdraw something your the only one on the server

Will this transfer over between maps?
That would make it worthwhile to me. It would be nice to not have to start each new map "poor" :-)

mkay folks if you are the only one at server you will simply have to wait for a mod on. But we have so many staff members atm so that wont be a problem. And no, i doubt it Tarl. But i might be able to transfer city gold reserves over to new maps. But we wont change maps at a loooong time. So that wont be a problem.

btw if some1 wants to deposit 1 stack of dirt or some thing and that is not worth 1 gold in the vault what do u do then?

thats easy. they will just have to gather enough materials til its worth at least 1000 gold (1 block inside vault is worth 1000 gold).

its now clear that they cost 10 000g each for a vault and atm is only sold to towns.
and we do not accept stuff anymore, only cash.
