Do keep in mind that the game requires a fairly nice computer and it takes forever to download so if you have even a little trouble running minecraft in single player without lag, don't get it yet.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the game is VERY well made, and definitely worth a play since it is free! And it's regularly updated with new content and weapons and sometimes classes!
