Recently we've decided to make a new map however I thought that this very typical new map idea was getting repetitive and is done by every server. So I had an idea. Why not have something different. So I am implementing this idea. I won't however reveal this yet as I believe it would ruin the surprise and would like to skip past people who would argue against it.

On another topic I'm making a new price list. This is due to the harsh prices for some items and privileges. However, this price list will have smaller prices, of at least less than 100 gold per block. This is to reduce the hassle of buying items. However to suit this price list I need to reset all the money. This is not negotiable but you can help with the price list if you like. (Note: I am putting a price for EVERY BLOCK [Addendum: We will NOT be selling EVERY ITEM])

One more thing I would like to mention. The name of money is currently gold. I feel, however, that this does not suit the server and should be renamed. I would like you to post your idea for the name of money. There will be a reward for the chosen name. The reward will be announced tomorrow and the winner will be announced on Wednesday, 13 July at 4:00 PM, GMT.

a classic name for money is usually credits
or go like carnival you could use tickets/points
however if you wanna stick with a kinda medieval theme, one i made up was gullets
and my two favorite or just basic ones: rings, and furs

As far as money names, how about honoring Notch and calling them "Notches" :-)
"Credits" is always good, or maybe "Crowns"?

For a name of money I would suggest credits, or something more unique could be like, A.G.C.s (Anti-Grief Credits, or Anti-Grief Coins). Very Happy

Well i have done some googling for some ideas, but the only thing i found was fictional currencies :L i don't know if it will help but there is alot of good names on there take a look: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fictional_currencies, but my choice would probably be credits as it is a popular name to use for money :L
